I too can imagine scenarios wherein McCain triumphs. But I am comforted by the following: 1)McCain couldn't possible fuck up this country as bad as W has (could he?) and 2)McCain is fucking Creepy and Old and will (likely) be outed as such.</description>

					<description>Lately I've been devoting more brain cycles to stuff like sidewalk widths than to national politics.  But I can't ignore this disturbing gut feeling I'm starting have that McCain is going to end up beating either one of them.  We all thought the Dems couldn't possibly blow it in 2000, and then again 2004.  I'll never again underestimate the lameness of the Dems, or the propensity of our populace to do the opposite of what I think is right.</description>
